New Ecommerce Site Launched for Beiler Hydraulics, Inc.
With no small amount of work we are very pleased to be rolling out one of the finest E-Commerce sites we have developed to date. Beiler Hydraulics is a Leola, PA based manufacturer, retailer, and industry leader in hydraulics,pneumatics and power transmission. They both manufacture their own products and retail some notable names in the Hydraulics industry, Prince, Permco, and Lion being among them. Beilers sought to break into the online retail market with their specialized products and name brand goods, thus securing additional revenue streams and securing more capital for future growth.
AMQ approached them with practical answers to complicated questions about making this process work, and run smoothly. Among their concerns were; Making sure the ROI was insured via optimum SEO, specifically getting page rankings above their competitors. Another very real concern was how to logistically handle opening up an entire second "store" with this website; making sure their staff would be able to, in essence, run a manufacturing company, a retail store, a repair shop, and an online presence all at once. After all, ROI tends to drag itself out if the overhead grows significantly with the investment. Given the opportunity to create a customized solution to Beiler's specific needs, AMQ saw how our strength in both Web Design and in Database Software could fit them with a solution to keeping page rankings up, and overhead down.
Database Software
We tied the web stores sales directly into the accounting and inventory software so the revenue generated would be automatically logged and directed without requiring staff to assist it along. Shipping orders were sent straight to the dock without having to trickle through a chain of command. And best of all, tying into the inventory database allows for real time updates of availability, price change, and lead times that instantly go live to the website!
Web Design
For the SEO problems, we keep our secrets to ourselves, but suffice it to say that on day one of the launch, before we were even indexed by Google, we were appearing on page 1 in various generic product searches. As for Beilers, they were immensely pleased to see that the very noticeable price difference between their more expensive competitor and themselves was jumping off the page for all the world to see. Quite a bit more eyes than those in Leola and its surrounding areas.
